How to build farms in Rise of Kingdoms

Farms in Rise of Kingdoms shouldn’t be a part time job

This is my take, on how you build a small group of farms, which everyone can maintain and benefit from easily.

First and foremost keep in mind, this is my personal opinin on this topic, and i am by no means an expert

Forget about multiple accounts

I don’t like this advice that some Rok-creators give. That you need 5 accounts, with 10 farms in order to play the game. You can play the game with 1 account, and 2 good farms easily. Some people have success in the game with 1 or even 0 farms.(I would not reccomend this)

My approach here would just be to migrate in the farms you want. When starting out from a new rok journey, you cna make 2 farms on the kingdom you want to play, and then migrate in using the beginners teleport. This is a fine 1 main account + 2 farm account setup.

If you later need to migrate to a new kingdom, i would recommend making 2 farms on that new server, then migrating in the whole setup, resulting in 1 main + 4 farms.

The reason we do this, is because there is a limit of 2 characters per kingdom. After 2 characters you can get more on that server by migrating. So potentially you cna just build farms on different servers, and then pay for passports to migrate them in.

The reason we don’t just make a new account for 2 new farm slots. Is because my personal advice is to keep the work you need to do at the lowest possible. If you need to change accounts constantly, for a task as tedious at farms, i think you are going to burn out, and not enjoy the game.

Build up the farm

Now you have a main and couple of farms on a server, how do you build them? Easy.

You don’t need to overthink this, basically log in a couple of times a day. Upgrade buildings to max level 23. Don’t train too much troops, and keep the power low. You want to stay below 10 million power, this is the breakpoint where the farm isn’t calculated into the kingdom power, and hurting your kingdoms matchmaking. Level 23 buildings, should put your farm around 6 million power, which is a nice spot to be in.

Make sure to upgrade the Trading Point building, in order to get low taxes and faster ressource transfer. Research into the Economic Technology and get some gathering benefits. Dont bother going into military.

How to actually play the farm

Again don’t overthink this. Log in as much as you can, without stressing over this, it is just a farm. Send out gatherers, collect obvious rewards, open daily chest and rewards. Also i recommend helping your kingdom, send to 1-troop if there is any. Donate to alliance tech.

Farms don’t need much, log in collect the easy stuff, and send out the gatherers. Don’t bother playing events, or barbarians forts etc. etc.
